The Scarpa Phantom Tech is a super light Boot designed for cold weather mountaineering and ice climbing. The main update to the Phantom Tech is the new waterproof gaiter design, it uses PU Tek technology making it extremely lightweight and durable along with a high level of dexterity. It also reduces the overall weight by 110g making it the lightest boot in its class. The Scarpa Phantom Tech is mega-versatile in the sense that it鈥檚 sensitive and responsive for ice and mixed climbing. The inner shell has Primaloft 100 insulation layer and integrates Primaloft Silver yarns, which improves the level of warmth and breathability while the watertight zip keeps water and bad weather firmly on the outside. The sole on the Phantom uses AC Tech roll which gives a good level of cushioning along with a precise feel. It also has a new TPU crampon insert and carbon tech 3 SL midsole creating the perfect harmony with the C3 automatic crampons.
