Product details:
Ruland beam couplings are a good starting point for applications that require a flexible coupling. They can accommodate all forms of misalignment and have higher torque capabilities and reduced wind-up than single beam couplings. Ruland beam couplings are machined from a single piece of material and have two sets of spiral cuts allowing for superior parallel misalignment capabilities when compared to single beam couplings. They also have a balanced design for reduced vibration and higher RPM capabilities. This F-series six beam coupling is manufactured from 7075 aluminum for lightweight and low inertia. It is well suited for light duty power transmission applications such as connecting a servo motor to a lead screw. Six beam couplings feature a larger body size and stronger beams than four beam couplings to provide high torque capacity and very low windup, while not sacrificing misalignment capabilities. This allows them to maintain accuracy, repeatability, and reliability in precision systems commonly found in medical, packaging, semiconductor and solar. F-series beam coupling hardware is supplied with our proprietary NY patch anti-vibration coating. It provides for even seating of the screw, repeated screw installations, and prevents galling.Ruland beam couplings are carefully made from select bar stock sourced exclusively from North American mills and are machined to a fine burr-free finish. Hardware tests beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum torqueing capabilities. Ruland, founded in 1937, manufactures all products in our Marlborough, MA USA factory under strict controls using proprietary processes. Beam couplings are RoHS2 and REACH compliant.
